EUBike Research Project & Engagement Event
for Bournemouth University

Events

Research Project

In 2016 Bournemouth University commissioned Salt Hub to evaluate the role of cycling in the local area and related planned improvements focussing on how these themes related to the target growth area of female participation. Salt Hub designed a bespoke package including the use of qualitative interviewing techniques, structured research and bespoke reporting to meet the clients need.

Results

At the conclusion of the EUBike project there was requirement to feedback the project’s outputs back to participants, the local small business community and the clients as well as raising awareness of the wider EUbike initiative. Salt Hub was responsible for the event management, online marketing & promotion and the presentation of the project key themes. We facilitated this event by selecting an appropriate venue, arranging a compelling rollapaluza event spectacle and eliciting the participation of various local vendors (e.g Muc-off, Rocket’s and Rascals).

Feedback

The client provided this testimonial following the engagement with Sally at Salt Hub:

Sally worked with us as event organiser and researcher for the European Funded Project EuBike (http://eubike.bike/). She joined the team in a very efficient and proactive way. I appreciated her organisation and leadership skills as well as her ability to became a team player very quickly. The event was successful and very well organised. Thanks to her communication skills, Sally facilitated the networking between participants, promoting the project and disseminating the results in an engaging way.
