The Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF) is one of the leading global charities providing sailing and other water sport opportunities to thousands of young people, giving them the chance to enjoy the life-changing benefits of sport participation. The ASF selected Salt Hub to create, develop and manage their first annual Bike4Bart Charity cycle ride which took place in September 2108.
The event was a great success and attracted well-known participants including Philippa York, Iain Percy OBE and Sir Ben Ainslie. We managed to secure numerous event partners, event supporters, and effectively worked alongside UK Cycling Events to ensure the day exceeded the client’s expectations. There were over 200 participants for the bike ride and many more people attending the fun and engaging family fun day designed to encourage kids to get out on the water and to enjoy the variety of stalls, activities and BBQ put on at the Portland National Sailing Academy.
Salt Hub has developed a strong relationship with the ASF and continues to work closely with them on a variety of other projects including design work, strategy and partnership opportunities.
